Meet the Chef!

Hi, I’m Chef Anna. I’m classically trained (French) and moved to the East Coast to attend one of the top schools in the country at the time, L’Academie de Cuisine. While at L’Academie de Cuisine, I followed Chef Patrice Olivon who is former White House Chef/Iron Chef winner/Former Executive Chef of the French Embassy. He’s been my mentors along my entire culinary career. I went to Fiola Mare (Italian Seafood)  in a Georgetown, dubbed # 1 restaurant by the Washingtonian at the time. I have served former President Obama and the First Lady for a handful of their special occasions. I went on to be the first female Congressional  Chef heading up Members Dining Room (MDR) for the House side. Then moved on as the first Regional Chef for the World’s largest hospitality group, Compass Group for the East Coast. I got to travel to different units that included NFL teams, Universities (EMBA programs), and Conference Centers/Hotels all over the country.

My love of cooking comes from my late Grandmother, mother of 15 children sand who was ALWAYS cooking for her loved ones.  My favorite cuisines to cook are New American, Southeast Asian, and Latin cuisines. My top priority is to serve “happiness on a plate” and show the many cultures of cuisines that are out there.
