Leaves are falling!
Up until last week, the leaves had been pretty manageable on the golf course. We were able to clean them up rather quickly after a few windy days. Last week they started falling at an accelerated pace. Throw in some very windy days, and it makes it very difficult to clean up the course. Because of the limited areas to blow leaves into, we are required to blow them into piles in certain areas and chop them with one of our mowers. This can be very dusty on dry days and a little bit of a nuisance with larger piles sitting before they are chopped. We typically have the mower going right behind the blower, so the piles should not sit for too long. The good news is that any leaves that are chopped won’t be an issue again. Thank you for your patience!
