We are very proud to begin our 18th season here at Reston National Golf Course. The Learning Center is considered one of the best player development golf schools in the country, and we have had the privilege of creating over 6,500 new golfers.
We have developed a learning process that creates a safe haven for golfers with little pressure and an emphasis on fun. Fun to learn, fun to practice, and fun to play! We have created a positive, friendly, and exceptional learning environment, and we look forward to seeing you out here.
With our outstanding and highly trained staff, and with the use of video analysis, short-game techniques, and on course instruction, we have enjoyed teaching golfers of all skill levels.

2017 begins our 18th year of introducing new golfers to the game of golf and help experienced golfers improve their overall games as well. The Tee It Up program offers 5 different levels. Please review the following chart to determine which program is right for you, and click it for more information. Aren't sure? Please call The Learning Center and we will be pleased to help you choose the right program. Programs are available in co-ed or women-only classes and you are welcome to put your own groups together.

Tee It Up 1 - The Front Nine
This program is designed for the new golfer; ideal for someone that has never held a golf club before or brand new to the game.
Tee It Up 1 - The Back Nine
This program is designed for the beginner golfer; ideal for the golfer that knows a little bit about but golf or has never had a lesson or may have played before but needs a refresher on the basic fundamentals.
Tee It Up - The Graduate
This program is designed for the beginner or intermediate golfer that has completed basic instruction but needs to reinforce the fundamentals and learn how to become more comfortable on the golf course. Half of these classes are held on the golf course.
Tee It Up 2 - Breaking 100
This program is designed for the intermediate or experienced golfer looking to improve their game and lower their scores; previous lessons or experience recommended.
Tee It Up 3 - Breaking 90
This program is designed for the advanced golfer focusing on improving a particular aspect of their game and learning how to manage their game on the golf course; previous experience golf experience required.
Tee It Up - Short Game
The Tee It Up Short Game group classes cover the four primary short game shots utilized in golf: putting, chipping, pitching, and greenside bunkers.
The Learning Center offers a variety of lesson-configurations focused on all phases of the golf game to suit your individual needs. Partner with another player for a semi-private lesson, or opt to have an individual private lesson. Lessons are offered seven days a week. Choose between thirty-minute or one-hour sessions. Purchase individually or discounted packets of five. Video analysis and on course instruction are available on in any session.

Summer Youth Camps are a tradition at The Learning Center as 2017 marks our 17th season with over 5,000 graduate junior golfers! We owe our success to our incredible junior golfers, and great staff members. We believe in the importance of junior golf and enjoy working with children between the ages of 5 and 17 of any skill level.
All of our junior golf campers receive an Amenities Package with a hat, golf balls, glove, t-shirt and more! Golf clubs are provided for those who do not own any. We group our juniors based on request, age, and ability while maintaining a student to teacher ratio of 8:1. Half day campers are provided with a snack and full day campers receive a snack and lunch.
FULL DAY 9am - 4pm
Full Day camps combine both instruction and on course skills experience. Juniors (ages 5-16) will receive instruction on all aspects of the game; full-swing, chipping, putting and pitch shots; along with learning the rules, terms and etiquette of the game. We provide instruction, practice drills, contests and games for a well-rounded and fun learning experience. Lunch and snacks are included every day.
Full Day Registration
HALF DAY 9am - 12pm
Half Day Camps are designed for Juniors (ages 5-16) to receive instruction on all aspects of the game; full-swing, chipping, putting and pitch shots; along with learning the rules, terms and etiquette of the game. These camps are ideal for those new to the game, and beginners or juniors still working on improving their golf skills. Snacks will be provided every day.
Half Day Registration
Monday-Friday. 9am-4pm. $579 per golfer.
Advanced Camp is designed for junior golfers that play competitively, are learning to play in tournaments, or are involved high school golf teams. Advanced camp helps prepare a student to compete at a high level.
All aspects of the game will be covered in detail by our highly experienced instructors - having coached and taught junior golfers that currently play competitively in high school, NCAA and beyond. Campers must be able to carry their own clubs, and have on course experience. Lunch and snacks will be provided every day.
Monday-Friday. 9 am - 4 pm. $539 per golfer.
Created by girls, for girls. This program offers something for every girl (ages 5-16), from beginner, to the aspiring high school player. Girls Only camp covers all aspects of the game; instruction on full swing fundamentals, putting, chipping and several days of on-course experience.
We combine interactive practice activities with on course experience, so girls will learn and enjoy the game of golf so it becomes the sport of a lifetime. Snacks and lunch will be provided every day.
The Learning Center's Junior Golf Academy at Reston National Golf Course has had over 4,200 young players graduate over the past 13 years. Some have gone on to play golf at the highest levels in college and beyond.
The Junior Academy provides programs to golfers of every skill level, from 5 year old beginners, to aspiring high school or collegiate golfers. Whether your junior golfer is just getting started or is a seasoned tournament player we have a program to take them to the next level.

PGA JLG is designed to bring a “Little League” atmosphere to the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls, age 13 and under, PGA JLG provides a structured league environment for young golfers to compete and have fun! This is a great way to get, and keep, kids involved in the game!
The Learning Center at Reston National’s 2017 PGA JLG will run from mid-March through mid-June on Saturday afternoons. During that time each of our 6 teams will compete in 5 games and have several team practices.
Our mission is to create a safe and fun team environment for all levels of junior golfers and through golf and the competitive format teach sportsmanship and valuable life skills.
